I find myself in a predicament.

While Atobe made a valid point that professional athletes must look the part - I just realised that I have absolutely no idea how to model anything. Actually, I have no knowledge of fashion in the slightest.

This may be a problem.

Does anyone have any data that may be useful on this subject?

Not everyone needs to know about fashion. Why is that a problem?

I don't think you need to educate yourself on the whole of fashion to "look the part". Just a little soul searching and self-research to find a comfortable and presentable personal style.

..Are you going to model? If you are don't feel too discouraged. Most people don't know how to model clothes.

While dressing up is nice, there's not much point if the clothes aren't comfortable. Maybe look into magazines to get ideas~?

Fashion depends on your individual physique and personality. I imagine my fashion sense would look very wrong on you, hun.

The best thing is probably to go shopping with someone to figure out what you like, what you feel comfortable wearing and get their opinion on whether it looks good.

You should like... Try and hunt Youtube for catwalk videos with male models! And look into fashion magazines and stuff.

Looking like a professional athlete has nothing to do with modeling and requires no particular knowledge of fashion. Some celebrity athletes do hire stylists to help put together their looks. If you desire help to find a style that suits you, my services as a fashion design student are available.
